Getting connected
To benefit from our second phone line, you’ll need to ensure you have a specific modem. This is the Telsey CPVA500 router that has been specifically designed to work with our next-generation broadband network and costs just £30. Simply select ‘Second phone line’ in our shopping cart, and we’ll automatically add this to your order.
When you are activated, you simply plug-in a standard phone (so no fiddly headsets or special IP-phones needed) and make calls as normal. Your second line has the same great quality as your primary line and getting set-up is a simple and straightforward process.
If you are an existing Bulldog customer and would like to add a Second phone line simply visit Bulldog Lounge, log-in to 'my Bulldog Account' and select 'Upgrades' from the menu. Our Second phone line can only be added if you subscribe or upgrade to the Unlimited broadband option.
How do we compare?
Our second phone line service is very cost effective, costing less than half the standard price of equivalent services from BT and ntl. You could save over £70 per year by switching your second line from one of these providers to Bulldog, and there’s no connection charge either.
Call & usage charges
You make calls on your second line as you do on your primary line and our standard call rates apply. Any additional call plans or call features which you have added to your primary line are not currently available for use on your second line.
As your second line uses your broadband connection, this service is only available to customers who are on our Unlimited broadband option.
