Our interface specifications
Bulldog uses the following BT interfaces:
- BT SIN 346 (Issue 2.5 August 2004)* for ADSL
- BT SIN 376 (Issue 1.0 August 2003)** for SHDSL
- BT SIN 349 (Issue 2.0 July 2005)*** for LLU.
* BT SIN 346 includes under section 3 the BT supplied ADSL linebox adapter, which is not offered by Bulldog (unless the end user has had previous services with BT and decides to reuse the BT linebox adapter). The modem-related features described under BT SIN 346 will be available with Bulldog’s products, depending on the relevant end-user’s modem, which will not necessarily be supplied by Bulldog.
** SIN 376 provides for a number of ITU I.610 ATM diagnostics features, Bulldog mainly supports those described under 5.4.4 & 5.4.7.
*** Until February 2005, BT allowed Bulldog the option to use SIN 349 with either the service specific front plate or the standard NTE5. At present, only the standard NTE5 is available.
